Stash is a clipboard manager, screenshot tool, and screen recorder that performs radically better by giving Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT real context to read your captures, not just the pixels. Every screenshot carries embedded context. Every recording is paired with a structured report. A local MCP server lets your AI query your captures by name or ID.
Download the installer, or use the portable ZIP if Windows blocks the installer. This artifact was built by GitHub Actions and remains unsigned while final release verification and signing are completed. Stash lives in the system tray and keeps itself up to date automatically.
Open Settings and sign in with Google or GitHub. It is the same account as the Mac app, so
your subscription and shared videos follow you. Recordings share as
yourstash.ai/v links.
In Settings, click Connect to Claude Desktop. Stash registers its local MCP server so Claude can read your captures by name or ID, then restart Claude Desktop. The server runs entirely on your machine.
